What got you interested in this field?

Soon after graduating from college, I found myself sitting through investment planning meetings, absorbing numbers and details and wanting to learn more and more about the pieces that comprised these unique investment vehicles. This desire to take things apart and try to understand how they work was birthed in my rural Iowa upbringing, where simple tasks can often become complex and require the ability to understand, adapt and adjust to obtain a successful outcome.

Since 2007, I have worked within the investment world in a similar capacity – breaking down the complex and making it understandable and obtainable to investors who have a desire to understand how we can work together to reach their goals.

Family

Enjoying life with my wife Salli, our two teenage kids and our three-year-old Bichon Frise.

Hobbies and Relaxation

In my time away from the office, you can find me taking a bike ride, soaking up the sun on the shoreline or on a road trip with my family (usually to visit more family).
