What got you interested in this field?

Helping others. From a young age, I saw finance as a vital part of every person’s story—one that, when stewarded well, can unlock opportunity and help navigate life’s challenges.

A technical curiosity in finance, paired with a deep desire to walk alongside others on life’s journey, affirmed early on that personal finance was the right path—and it’s one I’ve followed for thirty years. Serving clients through time has allowed me to grow both technically and relationally, and I remain convinced that the adventure of growth and learning in my profession is lifelong—and never grows old to me.

The relationship between a client and their wealth advisor has been referred to as a sacred trust. This truth is not lost on me, and the reality of it resonates deeply. When someone reflects on their financial life, they’re often unpacking the entirety of their life—their hopes, fears, relationships, values, and vision. Indeed, I’m honored to serve clients both in finances and in life!

Family

I’ve been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Tamara, since 1995. Her ‘love language’ is acts of service, mine is decidedly not…this keeps life interesting. We have two daughters and two sons. The oldest two are married and the younger two are in their university years. In 2021, our first grandchild arrived and we’re now up to four! Family life for us is a remarkable blessing and a profound cornerstone in our lives.

Hobbies and Relaxation

Spending time outdoors in creation is where you will most often find our family when not at the office or school. A few standout activities we’ve come to really enjoy include watersports, golf, tennis, pickleball, and skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing in the winter months.
